WHO WE ARE & OUR AIMS
The association is made up of bands from the East of Scotland, in total we have 16 member bands. The aim of the Association is to promote the culture of our bands not only with the Loyal marching bodies but the communities we live in as a whole. We seek to dispel the myth of bigotry and hatred surrounding our members. Replacing this with accommodation and respect for the distinct part our members and culture have in British society.
We aim to promote a feeling of unity within our members assisting all bands no matter who their allegiances are to. We also wish to raise the musical and dress standards of our members. This we feel is important as first impressions last, a smart well disciplined band is less of a target for our enemies.
The Association also acts as a mediator if our bands are in dispute with the Loyal orders. This helps to speed the process of complaints either from the Loyal orders or our member bands. We also assist bands if they have disputes with their local government authority.
Below is the names of our member bands, click on them to find out more about their individual history. After you have visited our site please take the time to sign our guest book your support is always welcome
